If you want cheap and plentiful, order here. Large portions for a cheap price. If you live within their delivery radius, it's worth it, but if not, I guarantee your food will be ready by the time you arrive after placing your order. It's not gourmet, but I've had some pretty bad Chinese delivery, for a more expensive price. So if you're looking for "fast" "cheap " "good", this is your spot.
I ordered delivery from Jade Bowl tonight and was actually really happy with the food. It was hot and tasted fresh. The delivery was super fast and with the delivery charge and tip it was under 20 dollars. (Order delivery directly from the restaurants' website and it's only a 2 dollar deliver fee if you are within 3.5 miles) I also have leftovers for lunch tomorrow so it was plenty of food! I may have just found my favorite inexpensive Chinese!
I have been ordering from Jade Bowl for 15 years. Their food has been pretty consistent throughout the years. You either like it or your don't. Their prices are pretty consistent with other Chinese restaurants and I especially like their food because there's no weird aftertaste. My dish if choice is Chicken Fried rice or Shrimp Fried rice. I also love their chicken wings which are priced well. One of the workers E, is my favorite! She is always excited to see me and I her. When I physically go into the restaurant and order vs ordering delivery I feel like they put extra love in my food. They are all just the sweetest hardworking people.
This is my go-to Chinese delivery restaurant. The food is good and the service even better. I have my favorites here, but there is not one thing on the menu that disappoints. The service is also extremely fast. I can order delivery and it's at my door in 10 minutes or less, call in for carry-out is just as fast.
If you know what to order here, you are going to get some great food. Something else you should know: like a lot of great hole small Chinese restaurants, some of the best dishes aren't on any menu; just ask at the counter for what the staff eats. You will get some fantastic dishes. For a while I did work near this restaurant off and on, and this is a great stop for cheap, solid food.
